Rahat Indori Peotry, real name Rahat Qureshi, was an Urdu poet and Bollywood lyricist from India. In addition, He painted and was an ex-Urdu language professor. He was once employed at DAVV as an Urdu language pedagogist.

In August 2020, during the COVID-19 epidemic in India, he tested positive with the virus and was sent to Aurobindo Hospital in Indore, Madhya Pradesh. One day later, on August 11, 2020, he passed away of cardiac arrest.
